Travels
In June, Ryan Duarte joined the Maginots for a quick
trip to LA and a day at Magic Mountain. The
kids and the adults went there separate ways.
My favorite things about the visit were looking down from the highest
point in the park, a Las Vegas style magic show and hanging out at the
bandstand. Cari, Marlene and Ryan
can have the roller coasters.
We
didn’t get to go camping this summer, but we did spend a day motor boating on
Rollins Lake with our neighbors Nelson, Brenda and Little Nelson.
Marlene got to go tubing. We
were all amused by a dog who
enjoyed retrieving rocks.
