year, Marlene introduced me to Garbage and Smashmouth.
Cari introduced me to Ben Folds Five.
It was a good year for comedy albums, Rhino released Tip of the
Freberg, a four CD and one video tape box-set celebrating the career of Stan
Freberg and The Firesign Theatre’s Boom Dot Bust, their best album
since Eat or Be Eaten. Most
of my album purchases have been Golden Oldies for the car show gigs and a few
karaoke DVDs.
