"Laughing at the Improbable"
The Improbable Improvisational Ensemble developed from workshops and performances at the Iron Door Comedy Cabaret in the lower depths of the Holbrooke Hotel in Grass Valley, California.
The configuration of our actual group varies depending on our schedules. Many actors who perform with us also work with the Foothill Theatre Company and Off Broad Street Theater in Nevada City, California.
Our shows are very spontaneous and involve a great deal of audience participation. Usually, there are five or six of us. We bring our own portable sound system, set up quickly and get on with the show.
We like to spotlight the individual talents of our people who are also singers, dancers and musicians.

Since our shows are based on audience suggestions for subject matter, our content can sometimes be risqué. We are happy to work within whatever guidelines are appropriate for your venue. Unfortunately, we can't stop the audience from making an occasional obscene suggestion or using foul language. Let us know what limits to set for an audience and we will do our best to abide by them.
The Improbable Improvisational Ensemble is available for your Cabaret, Comedy Club, or Special Event. Let our good humor lighten up your Corporate Function, Trade Show, or Private Party.
