Highlights this year included coaching another Odyssey of the Mind team. The support of the parents this year was overwhelming. My co-coach Rose Velasquez was a God sent. The O’ My Faire Shakespeare team did very well in the regional tournament, but didn’t go on to state. |

A schism within the Odyssey of the Mind organization came to a head this fall and our region opted to go with a new program called Destination Imagination. Marlene decided that she wanted to devote her time to other extra curricular activities like Choir and Media Club. As much as I enjoyed coaching an OM team, supporting my daughter’s current activities comes first. |
